The course consists of 8 units
- What is Drawing:
review of the intro techniques and media;
intro to ink & wash
- Design Elements and Principles:
intro to building blocks of picture making
- Colour theory:
advanced from Intro art class
- Painting techniques:
an overview
- Basic Anatomy of the Body 1:
figure studies
- Expanded Life Studies
- The Natural World:
nature studies;
landscape studies
- Create a Finished artwork:
includes framing choices and storage of works

EITHER Wednesday 6.30 – 8.30 pm
OR Thursday 9.30 – 11.30 am
Term fee: $200 per term includes all art materials required for each class.
