Arts Alive welcomes well known local
artist Jil Nugent to the staff of this art school for term 2 2007.
Jil is an artist whose skills and experience
range from oil paintings to large scale industrial sculpture to striking
textile creations.
Her work has been shown in the Ipswich
Art Gallery, St Stephens Cathedral Complex in Brisbane and many other
smaller venues.
She has long been an enthusiastic supporter
and champion of the arts in Ipswich and now is looking forward to passing
on her considerable skills to adults who are just starting out on their
exciting journey into the creative world of art. Jil will be the new
teacher in term 2 of the Arts Alive Adult Introductory Class held on
Wednesday nights or Thursday mornings starting in the week beginning
16 April.
